Amazing Retreat!

From the moment I arrived to Somatheeram I received excellent service from every employee from the resort. The staff is professional, considerate, helpful and did everything possible to make my stay enjoyable. The Ayurveda staff went out of their way to focus on my particular needs and I felt so much better after my treatments. The food and the restaurant staff were AMAZING! The food was delicious and the view of the ocean was such a treat. There is not enough room in this review to talk about the grounds, which are stunning--you get an added little workout walking about, because it is hilly, but I loved that. The infinity pool was perfect after treatments. I felt the accommodation was simple, but very clean and well maintained. What really made this vacation was how lovely the staff treated all the guests. I will definitely be making a yearly return to Somatheeram.

We could only guess what to expect - and all our fears and doubts had vanished in no time. A classic Ayurveda cure of min. 2 weeks you should treat yourself annually. Vegetarian diet, no alcohol, no caffeine, no nicotine, 2-3 hours of daily use and 1-2 yoga and meditation sessions - the secret of absolute relaxation and regeneration. We could not have found it any better. A wonderful spot more clean accommodation with air conditioning and sea view - Special Cottage NO 410. Great food - we could eat as much as we wanted and still lost weight - were never hungry and did not miss anything. Experienced doctors and therapists who were there daily for our well-being. The perfect regeneration of body and soul. Wonderful and well-trained staff in all areas of the resort - we have always felt comfortable. I write this review in my last days of stay I want to still have in mind the beauty of this beach and the friendliness of the people I met on this trip and in particular in this magnificent structure unforgettable stay, I practiced Yoga, followed a detox diet that gave me a lot of energy without excessive deprivation and I was pampered by all sorts of massage and Ayurvedic therapy very well done. Only advice I would like to give is to pay attention to the choice of rooms. If you are demanding and prefer one with the ocean view and an enchanting garden at your disposal you have to ask for it at the time of booking. The hotel alternative is definitely more inconvenient and less charming even though the rooms are clean, well furnished and equipped with every service

For the second time I have spent two weeks staying at somatheeram in Kuvalam. Staff - everyone from management to gardeners is incredibly good and smiling. The restaurant daily produces the most delicious vegetarian dishes and Ayovrda clinic with their skilled doctors and treaters is a chapter for themselves. You feel like a new person after 2 weeks of massage, yoga, meditation and healthy food. Can really only recommend this place in the best way and hope to come again next year.
