Onapookkalam

This pookkalam is made using 10 colours which according to colortherapy states that colors have energy to uplift the wellbeing of the people. Neutral colors of white and cream is used to represent purity, calmness, peace, elegance and harmony. Warm colors of yellow, orange, red and peach is used as these are colors of fire, fall leaves, sunrise and sunsets indicating they are energizing, passionate, lively and positive, thus giving warmth, happiness and good energy vibes. Light pink and dark pink are both warm and cool colors which reflects calmness, kindness, love, inner peace and harmony. Cool colors like green, blue, violet/purple and magenta are used as they represent the colors of night, water, nature and usually are calming or relaxing giving growth, creativity, balance, wealth and abundance. So this pookkalam with all these ten colors decorated the entrance of our home for Onam festival to give vibrant, healing, joyful and positive vibes to all. Happy Onam
