Located at Vellanad, one of the picturesque outskirts of Thiruvananthapuram, the Dr. Kalam Smriti International Science and Space Museum, is a hub of inspiration and learning. 

Dedicated to the memory of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, former President of India, this museum showcases the “Misssile Man’s”, personal memorabilia of rare photographs, miniature models of rockets and satellites.

Detailed models of rockets and satellites that Dr. Kalam worked on during his tenure at the Indian Space Research Organisation and the Defence Research and Development Organisation are displayed.

Various instruments used in space missions and defense projects provide a hands-on learning experience for visitors.

This section highlights India's major space missions - the Mars Orbiter Mission (Mangalyaan) and the Chandrayaan missions. It features detailed models, mission briefs, and interactive displays that allow visitors to delve into the complexities of space exploration.
