Keezharkuthu Waterfalls


To see a rainbow gushing forth from over 1500 m is not something you get to view every day. This is among the many reasons that people visit the gorgeous Keezharkuthu Waterfalls in Idukki. This natural phenomenon can be observed throughout the year. People are informed on a visit here that the forest they are surrounded by has many a medicinal plant that has been used by its tribal inhabitants for centuries. It is naturally endowed with rock formations that make it ideal for a number of enthralling activities that include rock climbing, mountaineering, camping and trekking.
