Papanasham Beach, Varkala


A bath to rid one of all sins is what guides most to the eponymously named Papanasham Beach in Varkala. A dip in its pristine waters is considered sacred and hence, there is always a multitude of visitors to this beautiful beach in Southern Kerala. Its remarkable stretch of red laterite cliffs are an added attraction here. One can gaze into the sunset from its summit or enjoy the medicinal natural spring that originates here. It is a destination that keeps surprising you at every turn.
