Paramekkavu Bhagavathy Temple, Thrissur

Paramekkavu Bhagavathy Temple, situated near the Vadakkumnathan Temple in Thrissur, is one of the largest Devi temples in Kerala and is also one of the participating temples in the Thrissur Pooram. The ceremonial procession with fifteen caparisoned elephants from Paramekkavu to the Vadakkumnathan Temple, where the Pooram is held, is a truly captivating sight.
