The St. Mary's Forane Church located at Taliparamba lies 22 kilometers off the civil district of Kannur. Built in Gothic style, the church exudes immense artistic brilliance and is a blend of exemplary craftsmanship and modern technological innovation. A rosary garden and a grotto of Mother Mary adorn the entrance of the church while the interiors and exteriors are engraved with spiritual motifs. The 110- feet high frontal elevation is embellished with a 25-feet long painting of Mother Mary in stained glass which is flanked by mosaic glass paintings representing the 12 Apostles. Adjacent to the Church is a chapel for the Perpetual Adoration of the Sacrament and a Marian Documentation Centre. Marian convention is organised by the church on the first Saturday of every month along with a Eucharistic procession and the Holy Mass.
