Eco-tourism forms an integral part of the ethos of Periyar Tiger Reserve. The tiger reserve is home to rare, endemic and endangered flora and fauna and forms the major watershed of two important rivers of Kerala, the Periyar and the Pamba.
Nature Walk and Green Walk, Jungle Patrol, Border Hiking, Periyar Tiger Trail and Jungle Camp are some of the eco-tourism packages at Periyar.
