You can see magnificent views of places as far as Thottumpara, Agasthyakoodam, Ponmudi and Pandipathu from the top of Kathirumudi at Kottur. The trek to Kathirumudi with the permission of the forest department is perhaps one of the best trails of Kottur, to see the wild up close.
