A trek to Meenmutty falls from Neyyar is perhaps the best trekking trail in the Sanctuary. Once the boat leaves you off at Kombai, where you can see life moving at a slow place in a tribal village, you begin your long trek to the falls. This one day trekking from Neyyar via Kombai falls to upper Meenmuty falls includes a 9 km boating upto Kombai and a guided trekking to Meenmuty falls (6km).
