FAQ

Basic Must-haves in your Travel kit during Kerala Travel

Travelling to Kerala means you are reaching a tropical destination, which is marked by two rainy seasons. One is the northeast monsoon in June / July and the other one is the southwest monsoon in October / November. The summer month marked by moderate-to-high humidity is from March to April with the months of December, January and February remaining cool and pleasant. Apart from your essential travel documents and money transaction options, it is ideal to keep currency notes of small value in your possession as most of the staff in hotels expect tips for their service. This is also the case with taxi drivers and guides at destinations. But even if you don't give tips it is perfectly alright. Carry all regular medicines in sufficient quantities, especially those prescribed by your doctor. A pair of good quality binoculars, an authentic travel guide and also apps from Kerala Tourism department would come in handy. Also store all the important emergency service numbers like ambulance, fire, police and other helpline numbers. An umbrella / raincoat, hat, sun screen, water bottle and warm outfits for the high-range destinations could be part of your baggage.
