How far is Munnar from Kochi International Airport (COK)?

The distance between Kochi Airport (Nedumbassery) and Munnar is approximately 67 miles along NH85. It is about three hours and seven minutes’ drive. 

Munnar is a hill station town located in the Idukki district of Kerala. It is nestled amidst the Western Ghats mountain range, known for its sprawling tea plantations, scenic waterfalls and cool climate. Munnar was once a resort during the British rule.

It is also home to a variety of wildlife, including elephants, tigers, leopards and sambar deer. Visitors can go on a wildlife safari in Eravikulam National Park to spot some of these animals, including the endangered Nilgiri tahr mountain goat. Other activities that one can indulge in here are trekking, hiking, mountain biking, boating on the lakes and visiting waterfalls.
