Initiating waves of excitement in the hearts of film fanatics from across the globe, 23rd International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) kick started with more exhilarating and interesting tales to unveil!
Thiruvananthapuram, the capital city has been transformed into a film city with the inaugural function of the 23rd International Film Festival of Kerala held on December 7th. The film festival which first started in 1996 and is hosted by the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy on behalf of the Department of Cultural Affairs, Government of Kerala.
The event will continued till December 13 with the screening of around 190 movies.
Ever since its initiation, IFFK was received with much appreciation and admiration by the State every year. When successfully entering into its 23rd edition with the participation of films and film makers from various languages around the world, IFFK truly stand as Kerala’s pride in the global cultural scenario.
A year long wait will soon end and the cinema enthusiasts of God’s Own Country are ready to line up for their favourite films, and to exchange never-ending notes on cinema.
