Embrace Nature's Symphony at Thusharagiri

Who doesn`t love the whiff of fresh air and the splash of water? Thusharagiri offers both and much more. The very name “Thusharagiri” originates from the mist-clad nature of the peak. The cascading falls combine Erattumukku, Mazhavil chattom and Thumbithullumpara. Witnessing and feeling the water gushing forth makes for a memorable experience.

Located in Kozhikode at Kodencherry, Thusharagiri is picture perfect for a group outing or even for a solitary trip. The place offers trekkers ample opportunities to explore, with rock climbing adventure activities also available here.

The three waterfalls in the locale are very close to each other - within a distance of 100-500 metres. There is an evident change in the nature of waterfalls during monsoon, and it is not advisable to visit this spot at the peak of monsoon. When the weather is pleasant, Thusharagiri is a paradise for tourists. The place never dries up and the quietness of the ambience is broken only by the sounds of splashing water and chirping birds. This has made Thusharagiri one of the most toured destinations. Thusharagiri is the focal point for attractive tour packages also. Once you have absorbed all that Thusharagiri has to offer, do leave time to plan a trip to Wayanad and the nearest waterfalls like Arippara.

Also head to Wayanad churam and Chembra peak, which is the highest peak in Wayanad. Taking a dip in the water at Thusharagiri is an experience for a life time. Thusharagiri bridge, located at Chalippuzha near Thusharagiri waterfalls, is one of the tallest arch bridges in Kerala.
