Take a ride along Nature – the narrow roads will lead you toward the mesmerising Meenvallam Waterfalls. Just a short distance of 30 km from Palakkad town lies this captivating destination, where you can embark on a magical journey over quaint wooden bridges and to other unique attractions.

Tucked away within lush forests, Meenvallam Waterfalls stands as a pristine treasure in Palakkad district, which falls dramatically from a height of 45 meters into the Thuppanadu river, that flows from the majestic Kalladikodan hills. The forest surrounding the five-step waterfall is part of the Silent Valley National Park, home to diverse flora and fauna. The leisurely hike to the waterfalls offers a scenic view, with babbling streams, dense forest canopy, boulders and a captivating hanging bridge enriching the natural beauty of the area.

The fall is accessible via a 2-kilometer trek that includes crossing the Thuppanadu River. The ideal time to visit this site is in October, following the monsoon season, when the weather is more favourable.
