Mezhukkupuratty, a popular vegetarian side-dish for lunch.
Ingredients
Long slices of tender string beans - 2 cup
Coconut oil - 1/2 cup
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Salt - To taste
Pepper powder - To taste
Curry leaves - One sprig
Method of Preparation
Heat oil. Saute curry leaves. Add string beans. Put chilli powder, salt and pepper. Close the pan with a lid. Stir gently with the handle of a ladle till it is cooked.
