Paral Chuttathu or Grilled Paral

Paral Chuttathu or Grilled Paral is a popular non-vegetarian Tribal Cuisine of Kerala.

Ingredients
Paral fish - 250 g
Turmeric powder - ½ tsp
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Salt - to taste
Pepper powder - ½ tsp
Coriander powder - 1 tsp

Method of preparation
Mix the powders of chilli, coriander, turmeric, pepper and salt. Add the paral fish and mix it with the mixed powder. Next, place the fish on a plantain leaf and wrap them. Place the wrapped plantain leaf on charcoal and grill it. After properly grilled, remove the wrapped plantain leaf and open it to find the nicely grilled Paral fish.
