Ponnankanni (Koyipachappu)

Ponnankanni or Koyipachappu, a popular vegetarian Tribal Cuisine of Kerala. This dish is usually taken with rice.

Ingredients
Onion     
Garlic     
Cumin powder     
Green chilli     
Coconut oil     
Turmeric powder     
Salt     
Koyipachappu     

Method of preparation
After heating some oil in an earthen vessel, put garlic and onion. Stir a bit. Next add some finely chopped green chillies and stir. After this add Koyipachappu and stir well. It is now time to add some salt, a pinch or two of cumin powder and turmeric powder. Stir well and cook for about five minutes by covering the vessel.
