An ethnic dish... Travancore Chicken Fry
IngredientsÂ
Chicken - 800 gms
Chilly powder - 50 gms
Gram flour - 100 gms
Lemon - 1
Vinegar - 50 ml
Ginger garlic paste - 15 gms
Oil - for frying
Salt - to taste
Curry leaves - 5 gms
Method of Preparation
Cut the chicken into large cuts and clean. Make a marination with all the ingredients and marinate the chicken for 15 minutes. Heat the oil and fry the chicken till golden red and drain the pieces from excess oil. Serve the chicken garnished with mixed salad dressed with lemon juice.
