Kerala Literature Fest or KLF 2020 has officially begun at the Beach grounds in Calicut. The fifth edition of the fastest growing literature festival in the continent would extend till 19 January 2020.
KLF provides an open platform for the audience to engage and interact with an array of writers, artists, thinkers, performers, activists, and literary luminaries and be a part of their discussions. KLF 2020 will see over 500 speakers for the sessions which are scheduled to be held simultaneously in five tracks from 9 am to 8 pm. Besides discussions, the session also includes debates, interviews, shows, cultural performances including Flamenco dance, Kathakali, Iberian music, Poetic rock show, Carnatic music by T. M. Krishna, theatre performances and Sufi music.
The theme centered in KLF 2020 is the environment and climate change and will receive the country of Spain as the guest nation. The literature in focus is Tamil.
