Some people, though never in the limelight, contribute greatly to society by putting their genius to hard work. Abraham John of the Kumarakom Manayathra Bunglow (Illikkalam) was one such person. In a life spanning six decades (1878 to 1939), John carved a niche for himself in the history of Kumarakom with his many and varied creations and experiments.
