The driftwood museum, the culmination of the efforts of Mrs. Raji Punnoose over 25 years, is the only one of its kind in India. It received the Kerala State Tourism Award for ‘The Most Innovative Tourism Product’ in 2003. The museum is also recognized by The Limca Book of World Records.
