Kudamaloor, on the banks of River Meenachil is known for its wonderful rural ambience. Presently under the Aymanam Panchayat, it was once the headquarters of the erstwhile Chembakassery kings and had mansions and many traditional Nalukettu houses. The descendants of the royal family now reside at the Valiyamadom Nalukettu here.
