Pattala Palli

Pattala Palli, which means the Soldier's Mosque, is located near the Palayam market and is situated opposite the Muthalakkulam ground in the heart of Kozhikode city. It is said that the mosque was built for soldiers.

This four-storeyed structure has a domed roof and a circular hall, twenty meters in diameter. A small library, a central well and a winding staircase are some of the features of Pattala Palli.
