Coming under the Peppara wildlife sanctuary, Pandipathu is accessible from Bonacaud tea estate. An eco-tourism project has been developed centred around Pandipathu called ‘Visit to Bison Abode’. The name was chosen because of the large numbers of Indian wild buffalo or gaur on the rolling grasslands and hill slopes of Pandipathu.
