The Champakulam Kalloorkadu church is one of the oldest churches in the state. Situated amidst the scenic backwaters of Kuttanad in central Kerala, the church dedicated to St. Mary is believed to be established by St. Thomas. The annual feast of this church is celebrated on the third Sunday of October each year.
