Peermede is a small town on the way to the Periyar Tiger reserve. It is an enchanting hill station, surrounded by tea, coffee, rubber and cardamom gardens. Peermede also has its share of natural grasslands, pine forests and waterfalls. Surrounding areas are ideal for trekking, cycling and horse riding.
