Munnar
Located at the confluence of three mountain rivers – Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. Munnar is some 1600 ms above sea level. The town is surrounded by tea gardens with winding roads wreathed in mist and bracing cool breeze making it an ideal place for trekking, fishing on just picnicking. From the Top Station above Munnar one can have a breathtaking view of the Tamil Nadu state on the eastern side of the western ghats. Munnar was the summer resort of the British in southern India during the colonial days.
