Kovalam

Kovalam is a few kms south of Trivandrum city where a rock promontory jutting out to sea has created three crescent shaped beaches ideal for sun bathing and surfing. Kovalam has been an international tourist attraction for several decades now. Numerous hotels have come up in the area catering to all budgets. Apart from sun bathing and surfing there are now facilities for ayurvedic massages, rejuvenation treatment, catamaran cruising and special ethnic cultural programmes on the beach.
