Chimmini wildlife sanctuary |
The Chimmini Wildlife Sanctuary, established in 1984, shelters diverse flora and fauna. The fauna that inhabit these dense tropical forests include elephants, sambar, gaurs, Malabar Squirrels, sloth bears and so on. The sanctuary, contiguous with the Peechi - Vazhani sanctuary, is endowed with great scenic beauty. The dam across the Chimmini River offers a breathtaking view. |
