Kesavadasapuram- Plamoodu road to be beautified
The Kerala Tourism has taken up the
project to beautify the 1.5 km stretch of Kesavadasapuram -Plamoodu road at an
expense of Rs.50 million. The project envisages the beautification of
Kesavadasapuram, there by making it a gateway to the city of
Thiruvananthapuram.
The Director for Tourism, Mr. Alkesh Kumar Sharma,
said that the State Government has already sanctioned this 'model road' project.
The project would be handed over to the Department of Public works for
execution. He added that such 'model road' projects designed on international
lines, would be soon executed in Kochi and Kozhikode too.
