Hydel tourism project at Meenmutty
The hydel tourism project at
Meenmutty will be inaugurated on November 2nd by Mr. A. K. Balan, Minister for
Power. The project is part of the Government?s various programmes to commemorate
the fiftieth anniversary celebrations of the birth of Kerala State. The
eco-friendly project on the shores of Vamanapuram River includes boating, river
rafting, and travelling ice cream parlour. Another attraction will be the
riverside huts. The project is the second hydel tourism project in the state and
is implemented by the Kerala Hydel Tourism Society.
