Kerala Tourism makes an impact at inaugural ITB Asia

The inaugural ITB Asia event held at Suntec International Convention Centre, Singapore from October 22 to 24, had Kerala Tourism at its impressive best. The Kerala Tourism pavilion decked up on the theme ‘Spice Garden’ showcased its products and services. Rare spices from Kerala were on display, which attracted many visitors. Mr. Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, Minister for Tourism, visited the Kerala pavilion and held meetings with leading tour operators from emerging markets for Kerala like Singapore, Malaysia, and Australia.

The exhibitors in the Kerala Tourism pavilion included Coconut Bay Beach Resort, Intersight Tours & Travels, Jayasree Travels & Tours Company, KTDC Hotels & Resorts, Mir Tours, Pioneer Personalized Holidays, Poomully Aramthampuran’s Ayurveda Mana, The Great India Tour Company, The Travel Planners, Thomas Holidays & Resorts and Uday Samudra Leisure Beach Hotel.

The event organized by Messe Berlin (Singapore) Pvt. Ltd. in association with Singapore Tourism Board, featured more than 650 exhibitors from the Asia-Pacific region, Europe, the Americas, Africa and the Middle East.
