Kerala Festival in Japan
Nihon Kairali, Association of Keralites in Japan, is all set to organize a grand cultural extravaganza, Kerala Festival, on September 14, 2008. The celebrations are designed to present the rich cultural heritage of Kerala to the Japanese and showcase the state's tourism potentials. Many classical art forms, including Mohiniyattam, Thiruvathira and Bharatanatyam will be performed at the event held in Tokyo.
The festival has its whole hearted support from GRIP Kerala, a Japanese group formed to promote Kerala arts, culture and socio-economic activities among the Japanese masses.
