Kerala Roadshow woos Domestic Tourists
Kerala Tourism kicked off its national campaign with its first series of roadshows in 3 key destinations to showcase its products and services to the domestic market. The roadshows were held in Ahmedabad, Pune and Vadodara with a great turnout of tour operators and media. A total of 532 trade representatives and 126 members from the media attended the meetings.
The delegation from Kerala which comprised more than 25 industry players, was led by the Director of Kerala Tourism, Mr. M Sivasankar. As part of the roadshow, Mr Sivasankar also launched the State?s latest initiative ? the Dream Season Campaign. Targeted at the price conscious domestic holiday maker, the campaign is designed to transform the lean tourist season between April and September in Kerala into a regular travel period.
Road shows in other key markets including Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Chandigarh and New Delhi, are scheduled for July/August.
