The Kerala Tourism Development Corporation (KTDC) will introduce 30 hotels in the international tourism market for the tourist season commencing in October, according to Mr. Cheriyan Philip, Chairman, KTDC.
The KTDC website now has details of the eight Premium Hotels. This year, the Corporation will market nine premium hotels of international standards, seven mid- market hotels with all modern amenities and 14 Tamarind Hotels among both foreign and domestic tourists. With this, KTDC would become the largest hotel chain in the country, Mr. Cheriyan Philip said.
Details and specialities of the 30 hotels would be presented at domestic and foreign Tourism Marts and Road Shows. The same would also be presented before tour operators.
The tariff of Premium Hotels range between 4,000 and 20,000, while it is below 2,000 in mid-market hotels and Tamarind Hotels. Various tourism packages connecting hotels of same price range have also been prepared.
Bookings can be done through the Central Reservation system of KTDC.
Tourists, arriving as part of package tours, would be offered travel facilities
and food and resting facilities at the 15 Motel Aarams of KTDC, Mr. Cheriyan
