Website on Volvo Ocean Race launched
Kerala Tourism and Cochin Port Trust have jointly launched a website on the India stopover of the Volvo Ocean Race 2008-09, to be held in Kochi in December. The site www.volvoracecochin.com will give detailed information on the event. Mr K. Ramachandran, Chairman, Cochin Port Trust, and Dr. Venu, V., Secretary, Kerala Tourism, hoped that this will be a real boost for Cochin Port Trust and Kerala Tourism. The Volvo Ocean Race will begin in Alicante in Spain this October. The Kochi stopover, which is at the end of the second phase of the race, will be from December 3 to 13, 2008.
