Kerala Tourism has organized a new promotional programme, ?Weekend Getaways @ God?s Own Country?, with a special view of the coming festival season. The package facilitates travellers to visit the state in the weekends of August and the Onam season in attractive price packages. Dr. M. Sivasankar, Director, Kerala Tourism, has said that the scheme aims at showcasing the festival season of Kerala as a potential time to visit the state.
