He prefers to call them doodles
The
venue was ?Ente Naadu? a Kerala Tourism initiative held in December 2008 in
Kochi. While the attendants were engaged in the conference business, a pair
of eyes roamed from one person to another. On the lookout was Mr. E.P.Unny,
the Chief Political Cartoonist with The Indian Express desperately seeking for
an interesting moment and transform the same into a sketch or doodles as he
prefers to call it. According to Mr.Unny ?Anything a cartoonist does is not
a cartoon; they are sketches?. He has penned a travel book titled ?Spices &
Souls, A Doodler?s Journey through Kerala?.
