The official website of Kerala Tourism has bagged the India eGov 2.0 Award 2010 for the 'Most User-friendly Website.'
The award instituted by eGov Magazine and Elets Technomedia is meant to appreciate and acknowledged unique and innovative initiatives in the use of the new age Web 2.0 for creating interactive platforms for improving citizen service delivery or for sharing and garnering information to meet the larger social development goals by the government and private sector bodies including citizens, citizen groups, NGOs and political parties.
At a function held in New Delhi recently, Mr. V. K. S. Chauhan, Resident Commissioner, Government of Kerala received the award from Mr. Shankar Aggarwal IAS, Joint Secretary in the Department of Information Technology, Government of India.
