KTDC's new tour packages to Ponmudi and Kovalam
Kerala Tourism Development Corporation (KTDC) Hotels and Resorts recently launched two new tour programmes, one targeting the hill resort of Ponmudi and another to the beach resort of Kovalam in the district of Thiruvananthapuram. KTDC has chalked out these daily tours to Ponmudi and Kovalam in addition to the two existing daily tours from the capital city of Thiruvananthapuram to Kanyakumari (Cape Comorin).
The tour to the hill resort of Ponmudi starts from KTDC's Hotel Chaithram at Thampanoor and en route will cover Koyyikkal Palace at Nedumangad. On the way the tour will touch tourist spots like Kallar and Golden Valley before reaching the Upper Sanatorium and the Guest House at Ponmudi. And the tour programme to Kovalam will cover the Light House beach, Samudra beach, Eve's beach, the nearby Vizhinjam harbour and the Parasurama Temple at Thiruvallom.
