Mr. A.P. Anilkumar is the new Minister for Tourism, Government of Kerala. He represents the Wandoor constituency in the State Legislative Assembly.
In his earlier stint as a minister, Mr. Anilkumar was in charge of Welfare of Backward and Scheduled Communities, Youth and Cultural Affairs.
Mr. Anilkumar of Indian National Congress entered politics through its students' wing KSU. He had served as the Taluk President and District Secretary of the organization. He was also the chairman of the PTM College Union. In 1986, he became the District Vice-president of Youth Congress and later its State General Secretary.
