GKSF campaigns to attract pilgrims
The Grand Kerala Shopping Festival (GKSF) would soon launch a massive campaign programme to attract pilgrims arriving in Kerala during the fifth season of the festival. GKSF, a 45-day shopping festival held in December every year, will launch the new campaign in the states of Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra.
Major pilgrim centres such as Sabarimala will be included in the campaign programme. An awareness programme on the potential of the festival and attractive packages have also been planned for the wayside shops on the roads leading to Pampa. A prize scheme will also be offered for the pilgrims attending the shopping festival. Leaflets with details of the festival will be distributed through the border check-posts, the entry point of pilgrims to the state.
