The Kerala Tourism Development Corporation (KTDC) Hotels and Resorts, plans to set up new hotels in major cities and pilgrim centres in India. KTDC would be ready to construct hotels at Tirupati, Mookambika and Rameswaram and a plan for the sanctioning of the land for these proposed projects would soon be given to the respective state governments.
After the successful completion of the ten-storyed Kerala House in Chennai, KTDC is aiming for similar projects in Bangalore and Kolkata. KTDC will soon approach the Karnataka and West Bengal governments for the sanction of these new projects.
