New Tourism Director takes charge
Ms. Rani George IAS has taken charge as the Director, Department of Tourism, Government of Kerala.
Ms. Rani George began her civil service career as Sub-Collector of Thiruvananthapuram district. After that she held the posts of Director in the Department of Urban Affairs and Collector of Kottayam district. This was followed by her tenure as the Managing Director of Kerala State Cooperative Bank. She was Registrar of Cooperative Societies for the last four years and currently holds the additional charge of Special Secretary, Coir Development Department.
