Thalassery Heritage Circuit Tourism project, a unique project, which gives an overall view of Kerala history to travelers, was recently inaugurated by Mr. Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, Minister for Tourism. The project mainly focuses on the preservation and conservation of various heritage sites and monuments situated at Thalassery in the Kannur district of Kerala. With the inauguration of the heritage circuit, the small town of Thalassery has earned the status of a unique heritage site in Kerala after the Muziris.
Besides the Thalassery Heritage Circuit project, other projects that recently got inaugurated include the Pythalmala Tourist Complex, Thalassery-Mahi mini bypass and Muzhappilangad Beach Circuitin Kannur.
