Kadalkanippara, situated in Pulimath panchayat in Thiruvananthapuram district, a tranquil hillock that offers panoramic view of the coast is all set to enter the tourism map. Kerala Tourism in association with the District Panchayat and Pulimath Panchayat will create requisite infrastructure for tourists visiting the place. Mr. A. P. Anilkumar, Minister for Tourism, inaugurated the proposed projects worth Rs. 5.5 million at Kadalkanippaara.
The projects include a road and a pathway to the hillock for the hassle-free movement of tourists; two open huts atop the hillock; cast-iron seats and viewpoints for watching the breathtaking scenery and sunset.
The project also aims for constructing parking areas at the base of the hillock. Rain shelters atop the hillock with protective fencing, signages and toilets are also part of the project.
Located five km away from Karate Junction on the Karate-Palode road in Thiruvananthapuram district, Kadalkanippara is just 500 m away from the Thalikuzhi School.
