Western Ghats, which made it to the UNESCO World Heritage listing recently, was the theme of Kerala Tourism pavilion at the recently held World Travel Mart (WTM) in London. The 120-sq m pavilion was an invitation for the visitors to holiday at some flagship destinations of Kerala Tourism on the pristine mountain ranges.
"Kerala enjoys a privileged place on the global tourism map. The pavilion was a true representation of the state for visitors to the WTM," said Mr. Suman Billa, Secretary, Kerala Tourism.
The Kerala delegation at WTM, led by the Tourism Secretary, had 16 co-exhibitors, including resorts, hoteliers and tour operators.
