A stunning road show and interactive sessions marked Kerala's official entry into the travel market of Poland last month. The programme was part of Kerala Tourism's strategy to tap new and emerging markets. Kerala has been receiving enquiries from the Polish travel business for quite some time and some entrepreneurs have also announced their plans to operate chartered flights to the state. The Kerala delegation which included about 24 service providers was led by Ms. Rani George, Director, Kerala Tourism.
According to Ms. Rani George the team received a very positive response from the buyers during the road show. The road shows in Polland and later in Germany featured interactive sessions, screening of the promotional film 'Your Moment is Waiting' and a presentation on Kerala Tourism showcasing its unique tourism products.
