New director for Grand Kerala Shopping Festival
Mr. U. V. Jose has been appointed the Director of Grand Kerala Shopping Festival (GKSF). Mr. Jose is currently holding the charge of Additional Director in Kerala Tourism. Earlier, he has served as the Director of Kerala Institute of Travel and Tourism Studies (KITTS), an autonomous institution under the Department of Tourism. As Additional Director (Planning) in Tourism, the efforts taken by Mr. Jose to promote Kerala Tourism as an international brand were notable.
"To maintain the popularity of the Grand Kerala Shopping Festival, to conjoin the business community of Kerala working in different levels with the shopping festival and to transform GKSF into an international experience using the potential of tourism sector will be the main goals," Mr. Jose said after taking charge as GKSF Director.
